As a start-up school, Hawaiʻi Classical Academy relies on the generosity of others to prepare for school opening. Tuition will not begin until after our school opening. However, Hawaiʻi Classical Academy will incur significant expenses prior to opening that are not otherwise funded. The most significant costs will be the hiring of administrators, teachers, and staff. The Head of School will need to be hired months prior to school opening in order to hire teachers and staff, prepare lesson plans, set-up the school, order curriculum and supplies, and numerous other important tasks. Other expenses in the pre-opening period include fees for professional legal, financial, and school consultants, insurance, facility rent, classroom preparation, facility repairs or construction, marketing and staff salaries, curriculum and supplies.
